Celebrate sunApple’s reason to exist is “lead the digital music revolution” and “reinvent the mobile phone” Google’s mission is to “organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful”   Those are visions that people breathe every day.

Are your company leader’s truly inspiring people? Are they building an inspiring vision, attracting the best talent, building the best teams, creating a exceptional culture and valuing people above all else? Or are they laying people off, cutting training, wasting money in inefficient routines and hiring incompetent people with inadequate people skills?

How do you inspire people to be greater than they possibly thought they could be?

  1. Leaders show integrity, lead by example and are always courageous. Lead by example.
  2. These days too many people blame others for their circumstances, drown in their weaknesses and fail to be remarkable. Create a vision, build high performing teams and inspire people to join that vision and truly understand WHY they come into work each day. Teach people to be proactive and never settle for average.  Nothing can stop them. Nothing can stop you.
  3. People are making more decisions now than ever but are constantly distracted by technology and interruptions creating poor decisions. Create a culture that allows all employees the autonomy to create change, and eliminate wasteful routines and wasteful distractions. Create productive work. I’ll say it again. Create productive work.
  4. Many business leaders feel they always have the solutions and provider the answers. They hardly ever take full advantage of the team that is surrounding them. They don’t let people step up, to lead, to listen and encourage them to talk honestly and to face brutal realities. Build world class teams that always challenge the status quo and make work meaningful and filled with purpose.
  5. Provide people the best training and mentoring that will make them a passionate and valued employee.  The SAP training I received in Capacity Planning has been invaluable to my career.   If you help people get what they want, you can get what you want. Business is about relationships and you can’t deny people the best tools and training to do amazing things.
