Being Pushy and Disorganized Will Not Sell Me That Car

I purchased a used Mini-Cooper recently and my experience went from obnoxious to delightful.

At the first dealership.

  1. The salesman missed my test drive appointment. His boss had to show up.
  2. The car I tested screeched uncontrollably.  
  3. The salesman promised to fix the car “if I bought it” Come again?  
  4. The salesman phoned me an hour later pressuring me into reserving the car and sending a copy of my driver’s license.
  5. After informing him I was not purchasing  the shrieking car, he was visibly annoyed like I had inconvenienced HIM, and hung up on me.

At the second dealership

  1. The salesman showed up on time.
  2. He was polite, calm, and courteous and ensured I was safe under the recent circumstances.
  3. He smiled all the time.
  4. He had all the paperwork and documents available.

I am always polite, respectful, knowledgeable, prepared, and professional. This is the main reason I am at the same client for over a year. And this why I would recommend that dealership and salesman.
